I love being able to change my cosmetics with different styles and fashions.  I like to be able to play up the different colors I'm wearing or try out a new fad or color I don't generally wear.  I don't want to invest tons of money into a color I may not wear a lot or a new shade that I may or may not like.

Nuance Salma Hayek Ultra Shine Lip Gloss

Salma Hakey has launched a cosmetic line that has debuted at CVS.  After being frustrated with cosmetic and beauty products in the past, she resolved that quality products should not be a luxury.  She has sourced ingredients for these products from her homeland specifically tepezcohuite (a plant that has been used on burn victims for centuries). She chose CVS to partner with because she wanted her products to be readily available to everyone at reasonable prices.

Her beauty line includes a huge selection of bath, facial and cosmetic products including lotions, shampoo, body creams, scrubs, and eye creams. There are over 100 different products in the product line. I recently had the chance to try the Nuance Ultra Shine Lip Gloss by Salma Hayek.  It goes on silky smooth and gives a hint of color with some gloss.  You can use it over your lipstick or you can choose to use it on your bare lips for a more natural color.  I've been using it alone on my bare lips and I really like the way it looks. It's a very natural look with a tiny bit of color.

The lip gloss uses mimosa extract and mango seed oil to help keep your lips moisturized.  Vitamins A, C & E condition and protect your lips as well.  It's hypoallergenic, paraben free and not tested on animals. Retail price $7.49 at CVS nationwide.

How stars really get perfect skin

I'm sure we've all seen movie stars and the rich and famous gliding effortlessly down the red carpet in thousand dollar dresses with a flawless complexion. Did you ever wonder just how they do that? I mean they must struggle with the same complexion issues that we do - monthly breakouts, skin irritations, scrapes, nicks from razors, etc. Nobody is that perfect. Get the looks with Hard Candy Cosmetics

Sarah17 has a thing for cosmetics. I don't really know many teenage girls that don't. Hardy Candy Cosmetics knew just what she was looking for when they created their cosmetic line. We had the chance to try a few of the new products from Hard Candy.  Hard Candy offers cosmetics for eyes, lips, cheeks, nails and body. We received a Hide & Glow duo cheek tint in the *in love* shade which was ideal for Sarah17's complexion.  Hide & Glow is a cheek tint that includes two different coordinated shades that you can wear alone or mix together.   It's a lightweight formula that blends evenly into your skin and lasts for hours.

We also received a Glitteratzi eye glitter gel from Hard Candy.  This is a light weight glitter gel that you can wear alone or over another eye shadow. You can swipe it on light or heavy depending on what you want your look to be.   Glitteratzi is available in Frosting (pink/purple), Maniac (blue), Platinum (silver) or Crystal Ball (clear).

Sarah17 also had a chance to try out the Mouthing Off Sheer Lip Shine.  I really like this one because it gives your lips a sheer tinted shine without making it a blaring, obvious color.  It's available in twelve different shades including tints of clear, earth tones and pinks/reds.
