Grab Green Eco-friendly Household Cleaners

There's a really popular saying that I've heard many times before that goes something like "The earth doesn't belong to us. We're holding it in trust for our children." I really like that saying because I don't think of this world and it's resources as mine. Just because a tree is growing in my backyard or a stream is running through my property, doesn't make it mine to do with as I want without thought for others or without thought for what it's going to do to our environment.

I recently found out about a new brand of environmentally, non-toxic household cleaners made from naturally-derived ingredients. Grab Green was started by a mom who was concerned about the cleaning products her two young daughters might be exposed to. She decided that if she couldn't find non-toxic products she would make them herself.

Grab Green offers cleaning products for laundry, dishes, garbage disposal, dishwasher, glass and all purpose cleaning. Her site is very easy to shop and allows you to search by product, task or type of fragrance. I was able to try out the Grab Green Dish Soap in the tangerine with lemongrass scent. I absolutely love the scent. It comes from tangerine, lemongrass and bergamot essential oils and smells absolutely delicious - nice & fresh!  The Grab Green Dish Soap had a great amount of suds and really worked to cut grease. We used it on a night we had spaghetti so I really put this to the test and was not at all disappointed with the results. At the same time it was tough on grease, it was very gentle on my hands which I really appreciate.

I also had the opportunity to try the Grab Green 3 in 1 laundry detergent in the lavender with vanilla scent. The Grab Green laundry detergent comes in pre-measured pods that are very convenient. There is no mess and no waste.  They work in all temperatures and are HE compatible. I love that they're pre-measured. I'm teaching the children to do laundry and I cannot tell you how much easier it is to say toss in one pod rather than try to get them to remember not to fill the whole cup to the top with laundry detergent and instead stop at this teeny tiny line. I love the natural lavender, vanilla scent.  Lavender is one of my favorite scents so I really enjoyed this.  The laundry detergent is biodegradable, phosphate free and dye free. It contains detergent, softener and stain remover and one pack has enough pods to do 24 loads of clothes. It uses 98% less packaging than liquid detergent. It did a great job on cleaning our clothes.

I also had a chance to try the floor cleaner concentrate. It works great on my hardwood floors and its' safe for sealants and finishes. There are no sodium lauryl sulfates, artificial fragrances, dyes or preservatives plus it has a low suds formula. It works on tile, laminate, marble, ceramic, linoleum, stone and hardwood. You just need 3 oz in one gallon of water so it lasts a long time and works great. I really like the lemon scent from the lemongrass oil. It leaves the kitchen smelling fresh and clean.

I think my favorite product from Aussan Natural is their Cat Odor Eliminator. We have three cats. No matter how many times I scoop the cat box and put in fresh litter, there are times it has an odor. There's nothing I hate more than being able to smell that we have cats. Yuck! The Cat Odor Eliminator naturally neutralizes smells at the source without just masking them. It's specifically formulated to care for the air around litter boxes. There are no artificial fragrances and it leaves no scent behind! The cats don't seem to know it's there & has no impact on their litter box use.
