Aveeno Positively Ageless Skin Strengthening Body Cream

You may remember that I had the opportunity to try out the Aveeno Positively Ageless Skin Strengthening Hand Cream.  I loved the way it helps keep my hand moisturized and soft.   Well I also had the chance to try the Aveeno Positively Ageless Skin Strengthening Body Cream as well.

I always have very dry knees and elbows so I make sure to use a body lotion after my bath to keep them from getting rough and dry.   The body cream gives my skin the same gentle, lasting care that the hand cream gives to my hands.  I am really loving the scent in this line of products.  I'm not sure what it is exactly but it's a very fresh, light scent.  I don't like using anything too overpowering after my bath because it can bother me when I try to go to sleep.

The body cream is nice and thick.  I hate lotions that are too much like liquid.  These really work down deep into your skin without leaving it at all tacky. The Aveeno Active Naturals line uses ingredients that are derived from nature and uniquely formulated to reveal skin's natural health and beauty.

I'm the first person to admit that my mood is very sensitive to scents.  The small of chocolate chip cookies baking reminds me of when I was a little girl.  The scent of fresh cut grass can make me smile on even the most stressful day.  Lavender helps me relax at night and fall asleep.

Aveeno Positively Ageless Skin Strengthening Hand Cream

Spring is almost here and that means spring cleaning has arrived in my home. It's not the favorite time of year but it is rather necessary at least occasionally.  Taking my hands in and out of hot soapy water, has left them rather dry and less than soft.  I really hate when my skin is dry and rough so I use a lot of hand lotion to prevent that from happening.

Lately, I've noticed that some of the scented hand lotions I use really aren't keeping the moisture in my hands like I need them to.  When I received the Aveeno Positively Ageless Skin Strengthening Hand Cream, I thought I would try and see how it held up to dry skin during spring cleaning. This hand cream is made especially for dry, fragile skin and it restores and strengthens while moisturizing for 24 hours.  It's dermatologist recommended and contains fortifying southernwood.

I really have to say that I am in love with the light scent of this hand lotion. I've no idea what it is but it has shea butter and several extracts in it that combine to a very pleasant scent. If you're looking for a hand cream that really works, I recommend Aveeno Positively Ageless Skin Strengthening Hand Cream.  It left my hands soft and moisturized without any tacky or greasy feeling.

My eyes have always been my favorite feature. Most of my friends and family have brown eyes and I've always felt very lucky to have blue eyes. I love to accent my eyes with cosmetics and never go anywhere without at least mascara on. Most days I also include shadow and sometimes eyeliner too.

I received a eau de toilette in the Water fragrance from Zents. It arrived in an attractive gift box. Once I opened it, the bottle itself included a little stone tray to stand it on. If that wasn't enough to impress me, a gentle spray of the scent on my wrist definitely was. Water is a fresh, clean scent that contains notes of linden blossom, coriander, lemon, and mint. It's a very delicate fragrance and softly romantic but has great staying power.  I am really loving this scent.  Overall it's very energizing and refreshing. Great first thing in the morning scent.

I also received a Zents Concreta Shea Butter Balm in the Petal scent.  This solid perfume balm was hand poured into this square stone pot. It contains aromatherapeutic, floral extracts and essential oils in a conditioning, alcohol-free shea butter & beeswax formula.   As the name leads you to believe, Petal is a very light floral with notes of lily of the valley, freesia, lemon, fresh rain accord. This is absolutely gorgeous!  It's very moisturizing and works wonderfully on your feet, knees and elbows. The little tray holding the balm lifts out so when you're done with it, the box can be used as a little trinket box!

Cosmetique also offers Zents lotion for hands and body.  I received the Sun scent which is a warm, sensual scent of vanilla, blood orange and amber.  It's very rich and moisturizing but not at all greasy feeling. It contains a combination of Vitamins A & E, soothing chamomile, sage and antioxidant green tea.  Zents lotion is free from parabens, phthlates and propylene glycol.  Very yummy smelling and I love that it can be layered with Zents perfumes in the same scents.

I've been using the BareMinerals products for about a week now. I can't say that I've seen a difference in my pore size yet but I can definitely tell you that my skin is less red and splotchy now than before.  It also has a brighter look to it. I used both first thing in the morning and my skin is hydrated and soft.  There really isn't a scent to the bareMinerals skincare items. No worries about it clashing with body lotions or perfume.   I love how thick the cleansing foam is.  It has such an amazingly rich lather that I could really tell it was working to remove the impurities from my skin.  The moisturizer was very light and delicate and didn't leave any residue on my skin to interfere with my cosmetics.

Good for you Girls skincare for teen & tween girls

Being a teenager isn't easy. There's all sorts of things you go through that make life a little more difficult. One of the hardest ones for many teenagers is acne.
