As I grew up, it seems my mother was always reminding me to wash my hands. Had I played outside? Time to wash your hands. Did I touch the dog? Time to wash your hands? Just sneeze or cough? I really like the way my hands feel after using Veripur. It's a very light lotion so there is not a heavy sticky feeling to it. There's absolutely no residue left on my hands. They're left feeling clean and soft. There is a Fresh Scent and Unscented version.  I received the Fresh Scent and I found it very pleasant.  It's slightly floral but in no way overpowering.  It's really more of a fresh, clean scent.
