Win a Skin Care Gift Set by Skin by Ann Webb

My eyes have always been my favorite feature. Most of my friends and family have brown eyes and I've always felt very lucky to have blue eyes. I love to accent my eyes with cosmetics and never go anywhere without at least mascara on. Most days I also include shadow and sometimes eyeliner too.

You can imagine how unhappy I was when the first signs of aging I noticed were around my eyes. It seems as though those fine lines get a bit more noticeable each year. It's such a sensitive area that I'm really not sure exactly what to do to help with the lines. I do use a serum or lotion under my eyes but I wanted to do something extra to try to address these fine lines.

But what to do? Most of the beauty care products I've tried specifically tell you not to use them near your eyes. How can I address that problem area and try to reduce those fine wrinkles I so despise when nothing can be used near your eyes?

Luckily I was contacted by a company who offered a solution to my problem. Skin by Ann Webb is a company with a passion for skin care. Ann Webb began this company after she faced her own struggle with severe cystic acne. In 2005 she opened her own clinic in Texas and realized that a need existed for an affordable but easy to use skin care line that still used the very best pharmaceutical grade ingredients.

In addition to using the highest grade pharmaceutical ingredients, products from Skin by Ann Webb contain no parabens, gluten, phthalates or nanoparticles are are always cruelty free. All of their products are vegan except the peppermint Milk Cleanser.

The Papaya Gentle Eye Peel by Skin by Ann Web was very easy to use. You simply apply it to your eye area in the evening (or your entire face if you want to). Then you let the peel soak for 10 to 45 minutes. After, massage off with a warm, wet washcloth and apply a moisturizer. It's very simple to use and is extremely gentle. Because it's so gentle, it can be used as an all over facial peel for sensitive skin.

The pineapple, sugar cane and lemon extracts help to brighten your skin. The green tea, algae and fennel help to reduce puffiness. The rose and geranium oils sooth the delicate tissue around the eye. The scent is very light and overall is fresh and clean smelling.  I love having something that specifically targets my problem areas.  It's very gentle on my skin and even around my eyes, I had no irritation or sensitivity at all.  I am not sure about long term results but my eyes certainly felt less puffy after using this peel.
