I really love nut butters. I put some sort of nut butter on toast, English muffins, bagels, into sandwiches, make cookies from them, drizzle it on ice cream... well you get the picture. Just about anything tastes better with a nut butter on it!

Now when you think of nut butters you may automatically think of peanut butter and that's probably true for a lot of people. There are lots of different types of nut and seed butters including almond, cashew, pecan, walnut, macadamia and even a blend of cashew/tahini butter!

These are all natural nut butters so the oil does separate from the solids and it needs to be mixed up prior to use. I really love the taste of the Artisana Nut Butters I tried.  I think my favorites are the almond and cashew.  They're so rich and creamy that it's hard not to go crazy with them.  The walnut is a bit unusual but probably because I'm not used to eating walnut butter.  I even enjoyed the Cashini butter which I wasn't sure about since I've never tried Tahini before.  It's really quite good on an English muffin.
