Spring is here and with it the dreaded spring cleaning! While you're scrubbing your floors and washing your windows, have you given any thought to *cleaning* up your appearance? Nope I don't mean scrubbing your knees and elbows, I'm talking about whitening those pearly whites.

I envy those people who have bright white teeth when they smile but sadly that isn't me. When I was younger I smoke and my many years of soda, tea and coffee have definitely NOT left my teeth white. I recently received the Listerine Whitening Plus Restoring Post-Brush Fluoride Rinse to try. This is a 2 in 1 product that both whitens & strengthens. It strengthens by restoring the enamel to your teeth and helps prevent tooth decay. You are supposed to use it twice a day after brushing your teeth so it's ideal to add to your oral care routine because you can use it along with whatever toothpaste you currently use. You are not supposed to eat or drink for thirty minutes after using it so keep that in mind when you decide when to rinse.

I couldn't see anywhere that said how long it would take to whiten your teeth but I suppose it depends on the condition of your teeth when you start.  It does say that it starts working on contact and the clean mint flavor was very pleasant.  I also appreciate that it's a fluoride rinse since we don't have fluoride in our drinking water.  It definitely cannot hurt to add this into your oral care routine.  It takes care of fluoride, cavities, enamel, whitening and fresh breath all in one product!
