Oh the joys of spring cleaning! Not only does it leave me with a sore back, it leaves me with dry, chapped hands! The constant taking my hands in and out of a bucket of soapy water is really hard on my skin. Plus we're in the midst of cold and flu season and I am washing my hands more often to prevent the spread of germs.
My hands need some serious pampering to restore them to the soft, supple condition I like them to be in. Regular lotions and creams just don't have the staying power I need when my hands get this dry and chapped. At times like this, I need something that is not only moisturizing but can also work to heal my hands.
evanhealy's Whipped Shea Butter, with infusions of olive leaf is an impressive source of phyto-nutrients appropriate for skin treatment. Rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins and enhanced with flower essences, these healing compounds are natural alternatives to antibiotic and antiviral treatments. Daily use normalizes and heals dry, sensitive skin conditions while providing maximum barrier protection with a heavy feeling or clogging tiny dermal pores.
The Whipped Shea Butter with Olive Leaf by evanhealy contains no GMOs, parabens, petroleum-based products, synthetic fragrances or animal testing. It is unrefined and has been extracted without chemical solvents, cleansers or bleaching agents. It contains shea butter, olive oil, vanilla infused coconut oil, calendula-infused sunflower oil and yummy botanical extracts and essences that combine to give this the most amazingly wonderful scent I have smelled in a long time.
I've used creams with shea butter before and they were always hard to get out of the jar and rub into your skin. Because this is whipped, it's light and airy and works completely into your skin without leaving any kind of greasy residue behind. I highly recommend this for not only dry, chapped hands but also for knees, elbows and feet. I love that this is intended to heal sensitive or mature skin. It's super hydrating and very gentle.
I really love the scent. I can't pinpoint what it is exactly but I definitely smell the vanilla and the shea butter. To me the combination has a chocolatey scent to it that is just unbelievable. I asked Sarah17 what her thought was on the scent and she said chocolate and vanilla so I'd guess my first impression was pretty good.
