Now I admit to being a bit sceptical when I read the description on my Luscious Lemon Meringue herbal tea. Lemon Meringue Pie is one of my favorite desserts and I was doubtful a tea could have that same smooth lemony taste.  I brewed a cup of this tea for myself last night while I relaxed in front of the wood stove.  I closed my eyes, breathed in deep and savored the sweet lemony aroma. I took a tentative sip expecting the tart lemony flavor I often find with herbal lemon teas. I was blown away by the blend of lemon and vanilla flavors that was amazingly close to the real taste of lemon meringue pie without that bitter taste of some lemon teas. I took a look at the ingredients and found that Luscious Lemon Meringue is made from South African rooibos, lemongrass, calendula petals, natural lemon and vanilla flavors. I'm hooked. I have to admit that I saved the foil wrapping from the tea sachet so I could enjoy the aroma throughout the day.

I'm pleased to say that the Paris Breakfast tea I tried this morning equally impressed me and I'm looking forward to trying more of the amazing flavors from Talbott Teas. The presentation is superb. The sachets have a very luxurious look to them.
