The winters in Vermont are long and cold and nothing grows but snow and my longing for green grass and sunshine. When we start seeing green grass again in April, my mind wanders to gardening and growing fruits and vegetables. Our growing season is very short and I really only get to eat the fruits of my garden from June through about September. During other times of the year, I rely on fruits and vegetables that I can buy from the store.

You won't find any high fructose corn syrup or ingredients you can't pronounce. Their organic applesauce lists just one ingredient... organic apples. Their organic apple butter contains two ingredients organic apples and organic apple juice concentrate. How cool is that?

Their fruits come from USA family orchards, berry patches and vineyards. They don't use any short cuts, chemical press aids or GEO derived enzymes. They use traditional methods of pressing, concentrating and good old fashioned kettle cooking. They add no refined sugars or additives.

I had the opportunity to review Eden Foods Organic Applesauce and Eden Foods Organic Apple Butter Spread. Both products were absolutely delicious. Since the ingredients are simply apples, it was easy to taste the natural sweetness of the apples. I love the products from Eden Farms.
