This is a truly gorgeous book of quilts that is ideal for inspiration.  Each of the twelve themes is broken down into a separate section of the book.   You will see each of the twelve quilts created for each theme by each artist. One of these twelve quilts is featured in each section by a particular artist. She shares a bit of her inspiration and tells you about her history as a quilter.  She walks you through the steps she goes through for inspiration and creation of each quilt block.  You also get to see a brief blurb from each artist for each theme but the featured quilt is really the most in depth discussion.  Each of the artists is the featured quilter once during the book.

Throughout the book are helpful pages with information on how to start your own challenge group, creating time and space for art, finding inspiration online, reasons to blog, and a variety of other topics and thoughts related to quilting with themes and challenge groups.  I loved looking at all the photographs of not only the quilt squares and finished quilts but also of the work spaces of the various quilters.  It was very inspirational and gave me tons of ideas for how to create my own workspace.
