Easter Candy solutions for those with allergies from Indie Candy #gf

Easter is only a few weeks away and I really need to start looking for some gluten free Easter candy for Sarah17's basket. Sarah17 is gluten intolerant so we try to make sure that her Easter treats are gluten free. She does splurge occasionally but tries hard to limit what she eats so she doesn't get sick.

Indie Candy offers naturally sweet gourmet treats that are gluten free, nut free, dairy free, Big 8 Allergen free, and all natural. When you shop their site, you can shop based on what allergen you're trying to avoid. I was really surprised at the great selection I found at Indie Candy. They have just about every kind of candy you could want including gummies, lollipops, chocolates, tarts, gum, marshmallows, caramel and even cotton candy!  They even have a category for the Feingold Stage 1 and 2 diet which is a diet used by some whose children have ADHD in an effort to control their symptoms.  We used this when David13 was younger but didn't really see results.  It does work for some people though & I'm thrilled to see they have candy for these kids too!

We received two packages of their Gummy Easter Candy - Easter Bunnies in pineapple and Easter Eggs in Key Lime.   They are also available in Watermelon.  They are Big 8 Allergen Free, GFCFSF, All Flavors Feingold Stage 1, All Natural, and contain 70% Organic Ingredients.  The kids loved the flavor and they are just as *gummy* as traditional gummy candy.  They come individually packaged in one ounce packages. Great choice for the Easter basket.

We also received a delicious, dairy free dark chocolate bunny rabbit lollipop. They use European dark chocolate that is sweet and rich, never bitter.  Each lollipop is one ounce.  The lollipops are Vegan, All Natural, Big 8 Allergen Free and GFCFSF.  This one was the first thing that got devoured and it was just as yummy as traditional chocolate.

The kids definitely enjoyed the candy from Indie Candy as much as traditional Easter candy and I could feel confident that Sarah17 wasn't being exposed to gluten in her Easter treats. I'm so glad to know that there is a site dedicated to allergy free candy!
