Well, Nicole at Paloma Pottery shares my passion for recycling and offers a unique combination of recycled glass & pottery for the home and garden. Nicole uses many of the same techniques used in traditional pottery making but she also adds in broken bits of recycled glass that melt in the kiln. The crackled glass surface is smooth to touch and sparkles with a deep, rich color that draws your eye to the multi-faceted look of the glass.
I've worked with Nicole at Paloma Pottery before and I have always been impressed with the quality of her workmanship. I recently received a beautiful Candle Holder Coaster from her in vibrant shades of green. The candle holder measures 2.5" in diameter and is perfect for tea lights and votive candles or it's available in 3.5" and 4.5" diameter for pillar candles. I love the way the candlelight sparkles off the glass surface. It's just gorgeous!
