Give your pet the best with Freshpet

For as long as I can remember, I've had a pet. The dogs and cats that have been part of my life have always been so much more to me than just animals that live with me. They're my friends. They have their very own distinct personalities and to me they're just like little furry children.

It's important to me that I feed them the very best food that I can. I want them to enjoy the food but I also want it to be good for them. Freshpet foods only use only all natural ingredients. You won't find any artificial preservatives or colors commonly found in other pet foods.

Freshpet offers a variety of fresh foods for both dogs and cats. We were able to share Freshpet Select Cat Food with our cats. Freshpet Select is a complete & balanced food for adult cats. It's natural with added vitamins, minerals & taurine and is gently cooked. Freshpet Select has fresh chunks of chicken, turkey or fish mixed with spinach and carrots in a tasty gravy (according to our kitties). There are three delicious flavors your cat can enjoy: Ocean Whitefish & Salmon Recipe in Suace, Turkey & Liver Recipe in Sauce and Chicken & Shrimp Recipe in Sauce. Sounds pretty darn good to me!

Freshpet foods are fresh so they need to be store in the refrigerator and used within 2 days of opening. Each little cup contains 5.5 oz of food. According to the cup, you feed adult cats 1 1/2 containers per day per 5 lbs of body weight.  It has a resealable lid which makes saving some for tomorrow very easy.  Ingredients in the Ocean Whitefish & Salmon include Fish Broth, Ocean Whitefish, Salmon, Chicken, Natural Flavors, Carrots, Guar Gum, Carrageenan.

All three of our cats really enjoyed the Freshpet select foods.  I'd have to say that the Ocean Whitefish & Salmon was their favorite but they seemed to like all the flavors. I love that there are real chunks of meat in here that you can actually see not just tiny bits mixed in with a lot of gravy.  The cats definitely seem to like this food. Sadly it's not available in my area yet but hopefully it will be soon.
