At the end of a long day, the one thing I really look forward to is a little pampering time to help me unwind. Especially after working, I'm tired and sore. As an overworked mom, I've been on my feet all day putting out fires and the aches and pains I feel, while minor, are still an annoyance. I want something to help me forget about day to day stresses and let me relax in luxury.
Nu Skin has partnered with ethnobotanists to bring you Epoch, a product line that has been formulated with botanical ingredients that have been proven over time to help soothe and condition skin. Each product uses different botanical ingredients to target specific concerns and problems and provide solutions based on nature. I had the opportunity to try out three of the botanically based products from the Nu Skin Epoch product line.
IceDancer is an invigorating leg gel that is meant to soothe tired, achy legs. Ingredients include natural wild mint (for the aches and pains) and a combination of horse chestnut, eucalyptus, and peppermint oil to stimulate tired legs. Ice Dancers is a clear gel with a very pleasant minty scent. When you rub it into your skin, there is an immediate cooling sensation and a very slight tingling feeling that work together to soothe tired muscles. The gel rubs in completely and is not at all greasy. Your skin is dry to the touch in seconds. I really love the way this works. The sensation is very pleasant and the minty scent is fresh and clean without being overpowering.
Sole Solution Foot Treatment is a cream for chronically dry, cracked feet that helps to restore moisture and help your feet maintain a smooth, healthy look. Sole Solution uses crushed Allspice berry (Pimento dioca) which has been used by indigenous people of South American for years to help with persistent dryness and cracking or red skin on heels, toes and sides of feet. The Sole Solution Cream has a really pleasant spicy scent that would be just as suitable for a man as a woman. I've used it for several days in a row and am already seeing a difference in how smooth my feet are. My husband is diabetic and suffers from dry cracked skin on his feet so I decided to share. He's enjoying the Sole Solution just as much as I am and he really appreciates the gender neutral scent.
Baobab Body Butter is an ultra creamy moisturizing body butter that quenches the skin and leaves it feeling soft and hydrated. It contains shea butter and the fruit of the African baobab tree which have been proven to promote smooth skin that stays soft and resilient. This is by far my favorite Nu Skin Epoch product yet. the body butter is rich and moisturizing with a slightly sweet scent to it. It goes on smoothly and is absorbed into your skin without leaving any greasy feeling behind at all. I used this on both my knees and elbows and I'm thrilled with how well it works. It not only works to soften skin as you apply it, but I really could continuously see how the body butter made an ongoing difference in the quality of my skin.
